Agenda not only for adults

Tuesday morning - Experimental bites

Musical instruments from hardware store

Slovakian culture is well known. Their musical instruments are part of UNESCO after all. Our first demonstration is there for anyone, who would like to learn to play these typical flutes. We will make a few strange flutes right before your eyes and ears.

Vortex rings

Air in the Tatry mountains is clear and refreshing. To add even more quality to the local air we would shape it into tasty donuts. See them moving through the room.

Jumping ring

The biggest obstacle with mountains is how to get up there. Physics can be of huge help using the trick of electromagnetism. You will see levitation with no strings attached.

Coffee break with experiments

Tuesday afternoon

Are you serious?!

To add entertainment to your coffee, we have brought several small experiments that you can try yourself. You can explore how latency in sound can strip you of your speech, how weird it is to look at the mirror with 3D glasses on or what strange sounds can be made by a simple slinky.

Wednesday morning

Microwaving plasma

Almost everyone has their own plasma reactor in their home. Indeed, we are talking about microwave oven. We can show you almost anything that you are not supposed to do with our microwave, so you don't have to destroy yours. Sparks will be flying.

Agenda not only for kids

Tuesday - morning (approx. 9-11)

9:00 Science show with liquid nitrogen

Experiments are cool. The first part of our workshop will be literally cool. Ice cold. Full of experiments with liquid nitrogen and questions such as: "Why are there no bikes on the Moon?"

10:00 Workshop with optics

We will discover the world of multiple reflections or surprising experiments (not only) with LCDs. One way or another, we will create ourselves a beautiful physical toy.

Younger children will be playing with geometrical optics and reflection. Older children will be playing with polarization of light.

Tuesday - afternoon (approx. 14-16)

14:00 Electric circuits playfully

People often find electricity complicated. But we will play with it even with the smallest ones. Let's light up a few diodes and connect some circuits. From easy conductive dough to soldering and printed circuits.

Younger children will make a bug with an easy motor. Older children will make a flasher from a solder circuit.

Wednesday - morning (approx. 9-11)

9:00 Science show with flying vehicles

Up in the air! This day will belong to all different flying vehicles. How do hot air balloons work? What fuel is best for rockets? And can we make one? Sure.

10:00 Workshop with rockets and boats

We will construct rockets and boats with all kids. Our rockets will use air and even water, so the experiments will be refreshing.
